Gain Control Over Your Screensavers With These Simple Steps
We all enjoy our favorite screensavers but in the same time we all hate to see that they sometimes disturb our movies, presentations and all the things we do and do not like to be disturbed from. Just read carefully this article and you will never have this problem again. Screensavers will always prevent your monitor from burn-ins but their will be always moments when you want them to be disabled so they will not disturb you. Sure, the best solution is to be able to disable your screensavers before any activity like the ones that I mentioned at the beginning of this article and because many other peoples did encountered this problem before us, many softwares have appeared to help us. The one I found very simple to use because it doesn't have many features but does the job very good is Galt Screen Control by Galt Technology. You can download this software from here: http://www.galttech.com/screenshots/screencontrol.html It's very simple to use. You just have to right click on it's icon in the system tray and select your option. You will not have to remember to enable your screensavers because you have the option to disable them for a selected time, which I found very useful. Another option for you would be a more complex software created by South Bay Software, Hot Corners. You can download it from here: http://www.southbaypc.com/HotCorners/ Even if it's more complex, still it's very easy to use. It will allow you to disable screensavers very quickly. You will be able to control your screensavers in three ways: by clicking the icon in the system tray, by moving the mouse into one of the screen corners and by pressing a combination of keys on your keyboard. This software will let you decide what it should do if you place the mouse cursor in one of your monitor corners. You can setup it to turn screensavers off if you place your cursor in the left corner and turn them back on if you place it in the right corner. I found this option to be very useful and very easy to use. In addition, you can set a pair of keyboard shortcuts to quickly disable or activate any screensaver, prevent screensavers from starting and in the same time it won't let your monitor go in power saving and power-off modes. Aside this it has many other features that will make your life a lot more easier. After reading this very simple steps you have now gained more control over your screensavers. Now, just go on and put them under control. For free smileys, free cursors, emoticons, free eCards, free screensavers please visit us at http://www.free-smileys.net
